The Forestry Service inspects the cabin for compliance to the lease terms, and requires corrections, if any, be performed and reinspected before moving forward. The transfer is then approved locally and then sent to Tallahassee to be signed and returned, which can take weeks. The funds are then disbursed, and keys delivered to buyer when the permit comes back.
